for Medicare advantage plan - EviCore require Orthopedic surgeon available at site for Vertebral Augmentation.
Have any one come a cross that kind of situation ? What you do ?

Hmmm. I haven't seen this yet. If this is enforced its clearly an attack on solo private practice with augmentation moving to hospital owned or large group practices.

PLEASE Send this experience to ASIPP to see if anything can be done to fight back. That is beyond ridiculous. Do we have to be present when ortho does a “blind” intra-articulate hip injection on a 350 lbs person?
 
Or when ortho does blind si jt injections
 
lol what is an orthopedic surgeon going to do - if you did manage to f*k it up they have time to go to the hospital and get an OR ready. idiotic they arent going to salvage a case in your in office procedure suite
 
Following this logic to it's natural conclusion, every time you plan to be in the presence of a patient, it must be at a level 1 trauma center with no staff on break.
