hi, i'm a non-traditional student and just completed 2 years of post-bacc before applying to dental schools. the thing is, right before i started the post-bacc program at nyu, i took summer school at a local community college because i hadn't take math or any sciences in 8 years. i had to start from scratch and took an intermediate algebra class and gen chem I and II at this community college, hoping i could start right away with orgo at nyu. my post-bacc advisor told me that this really was not recommended as the sciences are quite rigorous at nyu and the community college science courses don't even compare, so i had to take gen chem I and II again at nyu. she was very right. i felt like i was learning chemistry from scratch because nyu's chemistry was about 20x more complex than the community college course. so my question and problem is this: i got A's in all the community college courses, and then got A's again for these chem courses at nyu, so i didnt think to include the community college courses in my transcript assuming these didn't count. there is no reason i needed to retake a course for a poor grade and i still got A's anyway the 2nd time around. is this really really bad that there is no indication of the community college anywhere on my application??? i also did my undergrad at juilliard and grad school at yale for music prior to starting my postbacc program, so i have an enormous amount of credits and a pretty good GPA overall. will i get "caught" for not having included my very very brief summer stint at the community college?? thanks.
