They weren’t fast-moving at all, they were actually really sluggish. That’s normal because they don’t reach their maximal speed until later.

I don't see whats wrong with it. I'd be nice to know if I was sterile. This is no different than giving yourself a urinalysis in physiology lab, which is something that I did. Why would anyone find this disgusting? Did you grow up in a sexually repressive household? Maybe you think the baby jesus is looking down on you if you do this? :laugh:

Not really. I did this during the morning open lab hours, which are usually the least crowded, with the afternoon being the most popular time.

Oh come now, you guys cannot all deny at least having some notion of wanting to do this while alone in lab. Instead, should not the OP be heralded for his scientific curiosity and ability to appreciate and observe nature's finest? This, ladies and gentlemen, is a true scientist (or just a basement-dwelling hairy stinky nerd).

A quick pubmed search reveals that there have been hundreds of human semen studies. How do you think they've procured their samples hmm? 🙂

Well that's what I'm assuming, since he said the lab was empty. I don't care where he did it, I still think it's extremely weird. If someone were to ask him what he was looking at, it would've been pretty awkward.
 
OP: if your professor gets pissed because no one went to lab, you're safe because you have proof that you came.

why would this be gross. My ex girlfriend had a microscope, and she was interested in taking a look at my boys...you know see if they could swim. Turned out they can.
