visa change from dependent to student visa

hi im a foreign trained dentist.im on h4 dependent visa.i just have this visa for few months.can anybody tell me how to change to student visa and the difficulties in it........i would appreciate if someone can help me.

You would have to be accepted into a program(undergrad, Grad, DDS, PhD whatever) first of all. The international Student Ofice at your school should be able to help you with the necessary paper work.
Its not impossibly hard to do a change of status.

Many opinions on that. Talk to the adviser if going to F1.

hi greatworld 82,im searching for people sailing in the same boat.I want to know how everyone is proceeding.mY husband is in software,in this economy ther e jobs are not at all secure.so how can we rely on h4 status.
