I have been waitlisted at some nice programs where I would love to go to and some not so nice ones since last month or so. Do you guys anticipate or have experienced any movement in the waitlist.

Lately, at few of my interviews many candidates didnt show up. Why dont people cancel if they do not intend to attend the interview?

I received an interview offer last week and another today, so there is still time for wait list movement.

I agree, it's frustrating for all parties involved when people don't show up, as that spot could have gone to someone on the waiting list. It's difficult to keep everything organized during this process, so I think sometimes people just innocently forget, but I'm sure there are rude people out there who just don't bother to cancel.

So the interviews are still coming. I thought its all over since there has been no activity lately in the invite thread. Just wishing for some movement in waitlist in 2 of the programs I am very interested in.
