Big Bummer..:( Was one of my top choices. Still have 4 to hear from though!

Sorry to hear about the people who are wait listed, but there's still a good chance! I don't know if Dr. Babbage said this at your interview, but she said at mine that the previous incoming class was comprised of around 40% of people who were wait listed, so there's hope! Good luck to wherever else you applied as well!

They said they don't have a ranked wait list, so they fill the spot with the next best person they think would fit their program. I know that's not too helpful, but they also mentioned that they look at applicants location as a factor too, they like to have a well diversified class. They said they for sure do that for Kentucky residents, but I'm not sure if that same logic can be applied to the entire US. Anyways, best of luck!
 
do you know if they do this ongoing or is it in phases?
Also are we better off/worse off/equal to all the kids who will be interviewed post-Dec 1st?
