waiting for a possible interview

hello guys,

i applied to various schools (7 in total).
On February 22, i got confirmation emails from 5 different schools saying they received my application. Then another school confirmed on Feb 27 and last one yesterday Feb 28.

The waiting game is killing me here. Is it normal for schools to take longer than a week to offer you an interview (if they are going to do it at all)?

My application is kind of complicated because some of the pre-req are in a foreign transcript, which I know PharmCAS does not include on the GPA calculations, so it may take longer (maybe) for the schools to review.

What do you think?

I turned in my supplemental to California Northstate 2 weeks ago and I dont even think they reviewed my supplemental yet... I can still upload a new one through their site.

As for Touro University in California, I turned in my supplemental 2 days ago and waiting now.

That makes two of us. 😀

Depending on how schools do their admissions (rolling or all at once), they can send out their various interview invitations at different times. For example, if a school does their admitting all at once, they would most likely wait until the application deadline before sending out interview invitations. However, for rolling, it may just take them a bit to sort through your application.

Just be patient...schools are slow, and don't get everything done in a week like you would hope.

Ohio state took a month to invite me and i ended up getting accepted

U of Washington took two months to offer me an interview and I was recently accepted.

For all of the schools I applied for, it took at least a month and a half for me to hear back about interviews. Then again, I applied in November, so maybe they all took seasonal holidays 😛

Update: I received my interview invitation from Touro University (California campus)! I submitted my supplemental last Monday, and got an invite today, Tuesday. I am incredibly excited and nervous because this school is my top choice.
