Hello fellow waitlisters! I’m sure many of you are just as stressed as I am, given that decision day is two days away

. I’ve been reading sdn forums for a while now, but I didn’t plan to make an account until recently. I guess I was hoping to talk to other people in a similar situation to myself. So I wanted to ask two things:
1. So I’m on a OOS waitlist (unranked) for a US university, and I’ve seen various different rumors about how much their waitlist moves. I was wondering if anyone had any sort of general news or reassurance about this? I know it’s hard to know how much a waitlist will move since it varies from year to year, but any positive news or anecdotes might make me (and anyone else) feel better.
2. I’ve been thinking about what to do in a worst case scenario, and I feel like to improve my application to apply next year, I need to gain more diverse shadowing experience. That being said, obviously with COVID-19, we’re meant to be staying home for an indefinite amount of time. I just wanted to ask if anyone had any plans to shadow over the summer to apply next cycle, and if so, how you plan to do that with the situation we’re in?
Thanks for reading, and any advice would be greatly appreciated!
