So a couple weeks ago I received a letter from Creighton telling me I was alternate for a interview. Anyway today I received a email inviting me to a interview on March 30. Does the fact I was once wait listed affect my chances, and has this a happened to anyone use here? Thanks

Creighton told me that they interview about two people for each one of the 110 seats. So if you got an interview, then you've just jumped a big hurdle!🙂

Now, your task will be to impress during your interview. Based on the comments I've heard so far, most Creighton interviewers are laid-back and are there to hear your story.

Well that makes me feel better, I just interviewed at UNMC and I was told they interviewed 180 for around 60 seats. Now I have to wait 2.5 weeks, more time to practice at least.

Given that you interviewed at UNMC, I assume that your GPA is by far adequate for Creighton (not a slam on Creighton BTW🙂). I didn't apply to UNMC because I wouldn't have had the benefit of my high PCAT to offset my low 3.45 GPA.

Creighton's interviews aren't really stressful. So if your heart is in the right place and you are true, then you should be fine! You'll learn Creighton's decision between one to two weeks after your interview. Hopefully, you get into at least one Omaha school.

Congrats on your interviews! I was in the same situation - received notice of being in the alternate pool back in November and about a month later, received an interview request. I was convinced I wasn't going to get in because I thought I was already at a disadvantage from being in the alternate pool in the first place. Not so - I interviewed in January and got my acceptance about 2-3 weeks later.

As Omnione said, it's not too stressful and if you have been offered an interview, I would assume you are on equal footing as everyone else there on that day.

Good luck!
