Hey Yall!!!. I am new to this forum so I need to make all the new friends I possibly can. 😀 Just wanted to know if there was anyone out there on the Morehouse waiting list and if anyone had any and I do mean any information on what's going on with the waitlist right now. 😀

When did you give up the spot? Are we talking in the past few days? Hopefully, that spot will go to me.

I am on the waitlist as well as CocaCola ... I dont know anything except that Mr. Nesmith told me that hte majority of the waitlist movement occurs towards the end of the month. So, in regards to how many are on the list, how people get selected since it's not ranked, etc, I have no idea.

Yes, I too am on the waitlist. Looking on past threads it looks like the movement begins towards the end of May and can continue up to the week that class begins. The admission office says there is no way of knowing when and if we will be accepted. I love the scientific approach to medical school. 😍

I had sent Mr. Nesmith an email asking something and he responded back.

I notified the school via overnight mail on May 12th that I would not be attending so they got it on May 13th. It's only been a week...

Make sure you send in your complete financial aid information. Mr. Nesmith should pull people off the alternate list who have done this work.

i am nervous too! I am bound to have a stroke ...

But, they said that the majority of the movement/notification occurs during the end of May ... HENCE THIS WEEK! So good luck everyone.

Also, is there anything else we can do? I already submitted my FA info, sent letters in, and another letter of rec...

Maybe I should just "stop" by the office one day to say hello 😳

Ok...Seriously... is Morehouse's waitlist moving at all? 😕 😕 😕 I mean School starts in a month and I don't think I've heard anyone say they got pulled. I would like some reassurance on this matter. Anyone have any positive waitlist stories? Preferably from Morehouse. I'm realy freaking here.

My .02 is to keep waiting because people who are holding a spot in the '08 class are still on waitlist(s) at other schools. They could decide to drop their spot which could potentially open up the spot for you. Morehouse can accept students until the day of orientation July 7, which I have heard they have done in past classes. Keep your head up!

This is the exact reason that you should get your financial aid information into the school as soon as possible. That way, you won't be scrambling to find money if you're accepted toward the end of this cycle. Best of luck!
