I am a reapplicant waitlisted at a school for the second time. It seems like people have good luck the second time around on the waitlist. Anybody wanna agree or disagree with me? Any personal experiences?
It's going to be a school-dependent thing. If that happened here at UAMS, I'd say you're basically in. If it's somewhere like Vandy or really any school that over-accepts like mad, you're probably SOL.
You made the waitlist at WashU the first time you applied and didn't get in anywhere else? we're talking about st louis right? the fact that somebody can get an interview at washu but not be accepted to any low tier schools how random this process can be

I would have thought so, but I've known a few other people who had this happen to them, so it happens. Everybody I know got in the second time so I'm hoping the same will happen to me.
