We've had this for sale at our store for the past month. We had a huge display and everything...nobody bought it.

I bought a 6-pack just to try it out. Tastes like a watered down Bud/Miller Light. It would be great for Beer Pong/Flip Cup if you're into that sorta thing 🙂

Color - Looks like pee

Smell - Reminds me of Natty and Bud mixed

Taste - As if equal volumes of Busch Lite and water were combined. Very watery, fizzy, and only a slight hop taste at the end.

Drinkabilty - If I was just drinking to get drunk or play drinking games, I could probably be ok with this, but this is just not good at all for watching TV or with meals.

Overall - The cost effectiveness is definitely attractive, but it is definitely low-tier beer.

And any beer that comes in a can is not worth drinking by definition.

I did my own test last night and I pretty much agree with everything said above. 👍

But for the price, I can't complain.

Hell, there were a dozen people in my class that did cocaine all the time. About the same that abused Adderall for cramming purposes. I knew for a fact that at least 5 dudes were injecting anabolic steroids. I think everyone in the class but me was an alcoholic.

I'd have to agree with the Beer Advocate folks, shockingly. I thought it was sure to be awful. Just another beer, and I'd definitely drink it over Keystone or Natty (still not sure about the Beast, though).

I was able to sample some Big Flats 1901 this week.

First, I found it funny that there was only one empty space in the refrigerated case. It wasn't Bud Light, it wasn't Heineken, it wasn't Corona...it was the spot for BF1901. At $2.99 per six-pack, the stuff must really move.

Two aisles over, I found my warm BF. Into the fridge it went, and the next night I cracked one open after dinner.

Aroma: Smelled just like Miller Lite.

Color: Pale yellow- like the urine of a patient with diabetes insipidus.

Taste: While I'd struggle to say 'not bad', it is passable. It is on par with Busch, Keystone, and Nattie Light (and is much better than Coors Light).

Would I drink it again?: Not likely. I gave the remaining five cans to my father, who tried one and remarked "It's not the worst thing I've ever had".

Overall: You get what you pay for...an I'll be sticking with my Newcastles. But at the price ($11.49 per case), I think pharmacy students have a new go-to for their Saturday nights.
