I know you'll be buying a ****ing metric ton of that for your trailer Mikey.
My favorite part is their tagline - "It's the water that makes it." I plan on giving it a shot this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes.
Taste test complete. Bought a 6-pack.
Color - Looks like pee
Smell - Reminds me of Natty and Bud mixed
Taste - As if equal volumes of Busch Lite and water were combined. Very watery, fizzy, and only a slight hop taste at the end.
Drinkabilty - If I was just drinking to get drunk or play drinking games, I could probably be ok with this, but this is just not good at all for watching TV or with meals.
Overall - The cost effectiveness is definitely attractive, but it is definitely low-tier beer.
Gross.
And for the record, I didn't even know what flip cup was until I started pharm school. I am so out of touch.

It's good to know people still party in pharmacy school. I'll pick up the keg.![]()
Can't taste test d/t current pregnancy status...
Hmmmm...I just noticed it's brewed by Genesee.
They make a cream ale that is actually very good
Walgreens is exploiting the fact that schools are opening up Brewmaster / Brewery Operations Management degree programs at an unprecedented rate, leading to an oversupply of brewing capacity across the country. You should see the posts on the SBN (Student Brewers Network) from students at the most established brewery programs- they are throwing fits and demanding that ACBE (Accreditation Council of Beer Education) step in and stop these new schools from opening.
it won't be long until Walgreens will be offering a three month supply of beer for ten dollars.

Fewer patients complaining about wait times, huh? 😀Maybe this a new niche someone can exploit. The combo Micro brewery and pharmacy. Instead of the soda fountain you would have a beer garden.
I hear hopslam is out already...get it while you can!
Am I the only one who has trouble wrapping my mind around the fact that Walgreens is selling private label beer for 50 cents a can, but a few aisles over a 20 ounce Coca-Cola is priced at $1.79?
