I left medical school due to family circumstances but then decided never to go back while still on a leave of absence, again due to a family situation. So far, no interview invites (early June applicants). California resident. Lots of volunteer hours. Dental shadowing over 100 hours. One published paper. Will I ever be given a second chance?
please fill out a full WAMC template...

I think it will be difficult to try and convince adcoms that dentistry is right for you over medical. Did you check the box that asked if you ever applied to a different health profession?

While your DAT is high, idk your GPA, or what the rest of your application looks like. Why do you want to pursue dentistry instead of medicine?

Agree with the above, a filled out WAMC will help us most.
