Hello everybody! I am planning reapplying this upcoming cycle and want to get some feedback on my school list from the previous cycle or anything else. Attached is my sad sankey. I plan to add some DO schools to this list as well, I was maybe too confident last time around and didn't want to fill out the separate primary for DO schools. Let me know what you think!

3.63 cGPA/3.5 sGPA Biochemistry major, upward trend after a 3.2 sophomore year with 4.0 senior year
512 -> 518 MCAT (130/129/129/130)
Arizona Resident

250 hours clinical volunteering, just got a full-time job as a medical assistant and have yet to start, so I will get many more hours in the year+ to come
2,000+ hours organic synthesis research, one publication coming in the next few months hopefully
60 hours shadowing across derm, ortho, and fm
400ish hours non-clinical volunteering, including teaching music at local middle school, teaching free English class to chinese speakers, and playing organ accompaniment for local church, am about to start volunteering for a local hospice organization
Was a full-time missionary for two years, unpaid, in Taiwan (put this as "other" on primary last year)
Fluent in Mandarin Chinese

Edit: Main improvements from last cycle was adding about 1000 more hours in research (this was my source of income during undergrad) and adding 100ish hours in clinical volunteering

Your service orientation activities are lacking. You pretty much were a teacher. You need 150 minimum hours of food distribution, shelter volunteer, job and tax preparation, legal support, transportation services, or housing rehabilitation before for apply again. You also have activities linked with your religious community, but the above activities need to be itemized.

It may have also shown up in your interviews. You must improve clarifying your purpose as mission fit.
