Hi all!


I hope everyone applying right now is having a great cycle! I just wanted to come ask for some honest opinions please on what you think my chances are for acceptance this cycle.
  1. 3.96 cGPA and 3.93 sGPA
  2. First attempt MCAT 503 (124/129/125/125) and second attempt 509 (126/125/129/129)
  3. Midwestern resident
  4. ORM
  5. Small local undergraduate college
  6. 4,932 clinical hours as an MA
  7. Around 230 research hours
  8. 34 hours shadowing a neurologist and two neurosurgeons
  9. 1,425 non-clinical service hours split between wildlife rescues and crisis counseling
  10. Only leadership is being the head technician of a pharmacy
  11. No major awards
School list is pretty broad with just under 50 MDs and 10 DOs.

i think you are more than fine. im kinda similar to you. also reapplicant mcat 508 same gpa one publication. and i have md interviews. its just a waiting game
 
A properly formatted WAMC profile would be great.

That's so great to hear! Congrats on those interviews!
 
What feedback have you gotten from your prehealth advisors?

Be more specific with your nonclinical volunteering hours.

Only 200 hours of research?

State residency is very important, and 50 schools probably is a waste of money. This isn't undergrad admissions.
