Hi SDN! I’m wondering my realistic chances of getting interviews/acceptances to any of the programs on the list (MD + DO) and also my chances of getting into any of the MD programs specifically. Thanks!

GPA: 3.80
sGPA: 3.62
MCAT: 513 (129, 128, 129, 127)
Ethnicity: White
Graduation year: 2019

*quick synopsis for people who don’t want to read: strongest areas- clinical experience and research, weakest non-clinical community service and leadership*

Clinical Experience:
  • Postbac Research Fellowship at National Institutes of Health (time in clinic with patients): 500 hours (2019-2020)
  • ED Medical Scribe: 275 hours (1/2019-6/2019)
  • Volunteer EMT (crew chief and administrative officer since 2018): 1700+ hours (2016-2019)
Shadowing:
  • Various rounds at NIH: 10 hours (2019-2020)
  • Specialties: neurology, immunology
  • Pediatrics: 80 hours (Fall 2016, Spring 2019)
  • Sub-specialties: pediatric neurology, pediatric infectious disease, pediatric emergency
Non-clinical Community Service:
  • MASKerAID (mask-making org): 50 hours (since 4/2020)
  • Volunteer at Sunrise Assisted Living: 24 hours (Fall 2019-Winter 2020)
