You look to be in great shape for the TMDSAS schools - remember you can apply to all of them for one primary app fee.

Get your 3 (or maximum of 4) recommendations from professors or who know you well, and if you want the 4th letter can be from a work supervisor if they are not your family member.

Submitting early in the cycle is helpful for Texas, but be sure to proofread the whole thing very well, several times, before submitting because you can't go back & change anything.

Thank you for the advice! I'll be sure to update this thread with an II's I get as well in case there's anyone else out there with similar stats

I agree that your residency and identity as an East Texan should help you. I presume UT-Tyler should come to you, but take a look at other schools that may share your goals as a physician. I wouldn't worry about the committee letter, but keep checking with the prehealth advisors for other support and opportunities to learn more about the TMDSAS process (as well as us, of course).

Sorry for asking again but my sgpa is low because I got c's in gen chem 2 orgo 1 and both gen bio's. I got a's in orgo 2 both a&p 1 and 2, and biochem 1 and all my upper level neuroscience courses~33 credits. Would adcoms see that I did poorly on pre req's and reject me or would the Mcat score reassure them that I knew and understood the material

The upward trend is helpful and shows that you figured out how to study.

@Faha if I wanted to apply to any OOS MD or DO what would you recommend?
Yeah, can you post in this thread your new WAMC profile? "Rough stats" won't help them help you. Where did you apply previously, and where did you interview? What happened with Tyler?

I'm getting ready to apply this cycle I didn't apply last cycle. I took my MCAT in October so I posted the thread before I applied. I was just considering applying to some OOS schools MD/DO just to beef up my chances. It's why I censored? if thats the right word my stats just now. I've uncensored the stats now so it should be good.
