I am feeling lost regarding where I should apply and would appreciate any recommendations/advice.
I am looking for OOS friendly schools, I have no close family elsewhere so justifying to OOS unfriendly schools will be difficult I feel.
Would not mind adding schools in NY, not interested in California or Texas though.
Additionally, I know I am doing myself a disservice by not having many reach schools. It's not my style to aim highly so I would appreciate any reach school recommendations as I am having a hard time seeing where I land.
Stats:
- White male, first generation, from Florida
- 4.0 GPA (State school in Florida)
- 514 MCAT (130/128/128/128)
Extracurriculars (Lowballing my hours):
~ Managerial position at a nonprofit clinic for uninsured (65 hours, projected 1200 hours)
~ ED scribe (1200 hours)
~ Clinical volunteering (250 hours, got hired there, listed above)
~ Non clinical volunteering (250 hours, projected 350, Foodbank/Crisis Text Line)
~ Tutoring (200 hours)
~ Shadowing (91 hours)
