Hi,
This is one of my best pieces of advice and I can't believe that I've forgotten until now to pass it on. Keep in mind that I am a guy and it may be seen as somewhat crude, but I swear it got me an extra 10 points on the Step I...
Get a copy of First Aid (doesn't matter what year) and put it in your bathroom. Everytime you sit down to go #2, read 2 pages and try to memorize it. That is 14 pages per week, 56 per month, and so on. (If you happen to have some bad reheated rice or warm potato salad, you might even be able to "squeeze" in even more pages!!!)
This was an *extra* copy and not the one I carried around and used to annotate in. It actually was the 2002 ed., I got for free from an upperclassman.
I did this all through medical school and probably got through FA 1-2 extra times as a result. It sure beats staring at the wall or tub, and it's time well spent!!! It's like killing 2 birds with 1 stone. 😀
