I was wondering if sending an update letter to WashU at this point in the process is a good idea. Since I haven't heard back, I'm either waitlisted or rejected by now. Should I wait until I get notification of a decision before sending a letter?

The timing probably doesn't make a difference at this point...

They did for me last year, and I'm so very glad I sent one. I waited until I got my wait-list letter, but I doubt it really matters. The waiting is no fun, but I wish you all the best! :luck:

😡 🙄
John, you've already gotten some great acceptances. You're not allowed to ask questions on SDN anymore 😡

:sarcasm:

What did you put in your letter? What kinds of things do you think would help a waitlisted applicant out?

Thanks!
