I just got the email for the second interview with COMP for next week. I believe i was in the first group to interview (november) so maybe and hopefully they are getting to the last of us!!!! Praying we hear back the week after next 🥲🥲

Thank you!! Hope to see all of your beautiful faces on campus in june 🫶🫶 i dont know if in your emails inviting for the second interview has mention of “before a certain date” but they asked me to pick a time before friday next week so i wonder if thats the last day to interview

I think it’s more likely that we will hear back in early May. They said end of April originally but I was told cohort programs won’t send their recommendations, from the second interview, until the beginning of May.

I have been calling every other day and at first they said by monday and then when I called on monday they said Wednesday and when I called on Wednesday they said today and when I called today they said next week lol, currently crying haha

I haven't even received the email for the extra meeting/call. All I received was that we were supposed to receive a call from them soon. When I called Elaine, she said that not everyone will receive the call just people they need more info, but doesn't mean they're not going to be accepted. So I am a little worried because she said there is no decision on my file as of right now and shes still waiting. When I was interviewed it was by COMP faculty, so idk if thats the reason why they haven't contacted me yet. But im so scared lololll

Super scared haha after the email on April 1 of them saying they will contact us, I have received nothing so im spiraling because im like okay so if they dont want do the extra call then they're prolly going to reject me
 
Im like if you're going to reject me pls lmk now haha so I can figure out next steps instead of waiting in limbo but also trying to be understanding because I know it takes time and there's a lot of other people applying. and aside from msms they also have comp students and other departments. ahhh but reading past threads seems like this is common

same here, my initial interview was with COMP faculty and I never received a second interview invite. I assume not everyone got interviewed by COMP faculty during their first interview which is why some needed a second interview. I hope they release decisions like on Monday lol

I also applied legit on the last day it was due so im hoping that doesn't put me in a bad spot. I interviewed like third week of march

Same here, I didn’t receive the extra call and it’s been radio silent too. Glad it’s not just me LOL here’s to all of us spiraling together!!

I have been following this thread for a couple weeks now and when I called them today and they said next week im like okay time to hit up this chat haha and see who else is spiraling with me

I'm hoping it doesn't. But, for what it's worth, I was told from the info-sessions/personal Q&A meeting that this would absolutely make an impact if it happened to be the case.

I was also in a situation where I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to apply "early/on-time." Ended up working out, however, they extended the original deadline anyway by a few weeks so I had some more breathing room if needed.

Seemed a bit contradictory because admit decisions would not be announced until all interviews were handed out, so I didn't see the issue given it's not rolling admissions. Their reasoning was that the interviews would be filled up, this was back in January.

Did you apply on the original deadline (~2/14 iirc) or the extended deadline?

I applied on feb 28 :/. But when I interviewed there were quite a few people, about 20 I Believe. But I know there were interviews after me as well. Wait so you're saying that I am going to get affected by this?

I see, and no - I’m not saying that at all because I have no idea. Was just relaying what I heard regarding this, don’t know what to interpret of that information myself.

I’m hoping everything works out 🙏🏻

Hi no I’m not so I wanted to do the MSMS to get into PA school when I interviewed they told me they didn’t have a pipeline for PA but they were working on it. Yesterday morning I first got an interview from someone saying they had established a pathway to PA and I had been accepted and would receive my official offer shortly. After I checked my status and maybe like 2 hours later it was updated with the official letter.

it could be today, but she said my application had no decision yet 🙁(((. she said it could be today or this week she doesn't know yet but some decisions have been sent out already for the other pipelines. they're still waiting on the DO pipeline
