Hi,
My question is do to the fact that I am an undergraduate student who will be graduating from Georgia Gwinnett College in the next year and a half. I have spent all but one semester at this school. My institutional GPA ia currently 3.2. Based on projected calculations with a high degree of certainty, my GPA will be above 3.5 upon graduation. The issue is that the one semester I spent at Gwinnett Technical College (I failed all my classes) puts my regents GPA much lower.
My question then is: do medical schools pay attention to the institutional or overall GPA? Is there any way I can remove my one semester at another school from my overall transcript? How does this affect my chances of entry into medical schools?
