I'm going to be a Junior at a Texas undergraduate university.
I have a 4.0 cumulative and science GPA.
I've done research in a neuroscience laboratory for two years and have found that research isn't really for me, so I most likely won't be doing anymore.
I plan to get my clinical and shadowing experience this fall by volunteering at a local clinic and shadowing a family physician.
My main extracurriculars involve my fraternity, HOSA, and lacrosse.
I've gone on a medical mission trip during my spring break.
I'm currently doing SN2ED's Summer MCAT schedule and will be taking my MCAT on August 15, 2014 and will post again on here when I know my scores.
To everyone of SDN, I ask what are my chances, are there areas I can improve, are there certain things i MUST do, and also just ask for any piece of advice or suggestion. I'm very open to anything and everything.
I'll be applying to all Texas medical DO and MD schools and am open to suggestions of cost efficient places out of state that I can apply to.
Thank you all in advance!
