I go to a quarter school (University of Washington) and we just get a number for a grade so for instance. What do i convert a 3.2 to? do i round up? nearest number? Do i use the addsas grading without +/-

this is the worst advice ever! It would be extremely fraudulent and DQ his/her ass.

You round normally obviously. 3.2 = b+

when in question you have to round down. for example my school gives out 3.5's and for aadsas people at my school were required to round it down to 3.33 on the conversion chart rather than up to 3.66 which would actually have been the closer estimate. all of the schools will look at your official transcripts anyway, so don't worry about it too much as most people's aadsas gpa is lower than their actual gpa.

On the new application if you use a point system, there is a place to enter the number in. When you click on grade, it has some drop down menus...

A+ revieves a 4.00 anyway - RIGHT?

Actually, an A is a 4.00 but an A+ is something like 4.25 or 4.33. Not very many schools actually use an A+ system...it tops out at A/4.00

yeah but you know what, you also don't have A-, B-, C- etc.

You really need to relax...nothing you do or say will change the system for this go around, and even then, not much in the future. Just relax, not many schools actually use the A+ system anyway.

i see your point - BUT

for every A- you have, i have a B
for every B- you have, i have a C
for every C- you have, i have a (well, lets not go there)

I guess it's all the same in the long run

If I could choose whether my school was on the +/- system - it would be a tough choice!
