what are some good MCAT books.....

1) Kaplan New MCAT Practice Tests (Kaplan Mcat Practice Tests)
2) Barron's New MCAT, 2007 (Barron's How to Prepare for the New Medical College Admission Test Mcat)
3) Princeton MCAT Review
4) Examkcaker books

Which MCAT books are good and which ones are bad? Which books did you use? Stating the pros and cons of each book will help me.

Also, could you tell me the guideline in how you studied for the MCAT (like 3 months, used exackrackers, etc- this was just an example)

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!

Examkrackers 101 Verbal passages is good - supposedly its most similar to MCAT style passages and questions. there physics and bio is apparently not so good however (very condensed, leaves out a lot)

I took the Kaplan course so I have the books that come with the class and they are really good - lots of detail but not overwhelming and they tell you which topics are seen most often ("MCAT Favorite")

I have a Princeton Review book for Physics and its pretty good. The examples within each section help clarify the material, I just wish they were more MCAT style questions

If u havent already and u still have time, u should sign up for Kaplan online - there's so much practice material its crazy - subject tests, content tests, section tests, full lengths (Kaplan + AAMC), on-demand video lectures, workshops, quizzes, question bank
