i heard from someone that we are given a block of chalk that we need to carve through as part of the PAT section of the DAT when we take the test? i was under the impression that we just do all of the angle/hole punching/etc 2 dimension imagining with what we are tested on on the computer... i didnt know there is a 3 dimensional aspect where we actually do something other than sit at a computer the whole time?

can anyone confirm this who has taken the DAT? thanks

The PAT section (as well as every other section) is all on the computer. I'm not sure where you heard that information, but you will not have to carve chalk or anything like that. Good luck!!

Carving is part of the Canadian DAT. u.s does not have a dexterity section.

The Canadian DAT requires soap block carving.

So I hear...

You can find alot more info in the DAT forum. Also DAT related questions should go there.

US DAT requires you to carve a donkey out of a block of soap
