Hanging out with my mom >>> studying Parasitology. Leaving soon for my equine ICU shift, but I convinced my mom to stay the night, go to class with me, and observe my riding lesson since she has expressed interest in doing it.
 
Totally just lost it at the airport dropping off the boyfriend. I didn't think I was going to cry, it sort of came out of nowhere. I miss him like crazy already. :cry:

My husband and I have now lived apart for over three years. I still cry every. single. time I drop him off at the airport. I thought it would get easier, but it's only gotten harder. Just remember: Skype is your friend!!

I know that feeling well. My husband and I did a LDR for a couple summers while we were still dating and I remember crying so hard every time we said goodbye. It sucks.
 
Yeah we did it for 3 years in the past, sometimes 6-9 months at a time with deployments, and it's only gotten worse lol. Just being with him makes everything right and when he's gone it's sad. Just sad. This is gonna be a long 4 years. 🙄
 
I'm going to get out of bed and find a coffee shop with wifi so I can find a job.

Also have to buy a bus pass ($70 down the drain) and unpack the rest of my stuffs.
 
Reading a KSU paper on swine nutrition, which isn't too bad. I just wish it wasn't 44 pages..

Leaving the piglets and going to the lab. They were so cute. Almost got peed on the head though. D:
 
I have been on the go these last few days.....and hanged over too.....

my flatmate came back yesterday after being away all summer.... so we went out to dinner last night, drank margaritas, then went to a few bars afterwards - I mixed tequila and whiskey - I would not recommend that.... did not feel so hot today.....ugh

and then today was in town for a good portion of the day running errands.... went to campus to pick up my loan check and deposit it at the bank!!!! and have poker tonight! so more drinking and cards....

and the rest of the week proves to be filled with alcohol and pubs.... leading up to the first day of classes next Monday..... yeah.....

I'm in the library surrounded by smelly people.
I had to get a library card in order to get easy wifi access in this city.
I just spent like an hour preparing a resume for a job that is kind of a long shot.

I'm riding the bus. And by the faces of people around me, they did notice the smell I brought with me. Haha

Sitting here trying to study for a test that I'm not feeling good about, but stressed beyond words that I have to deal with this financial aid crap more. Not sure how to focus right now.
 
Baking cracked cookies! It's the first thing I've baked in my new apartment kitchen. Totally loving that I actually have a kitchen at school now!

We get to visit the dog and cat house tomorrow (to feel the anatomy on the live animal) and all of the animals are adoptable...

Doing bacterial pathogenesis homework...it's super easy because I can Ctrl+F everything in the notes I typed up for microbiology last fall! 😀 Still takes time though...more because I'm being distractable.

I made a little squealing at reading this. Makes me nostalgic for that floor. 🙁 I miss those study guides--definitely how I passed both her classes I took. 😍 them.
 
I am about to start movie night. I have rented movies, got a bunch of junk food (because I don't care right now) and I am going to enjoy this night without any thoughts about school, tests or studying. I am going to stay up as late as I want and enjoy tonight. So incredibly content and happy. 😀 😀
 
Looking up portable bathtubs. The only downside to my new apartment is it's lack of a bathtub. I can live without a soak, but sometimes it's nice. Apparently, portable bathtubs do exist. Unfortunately, the only country to come up with it is China and they cost $200+. 🙁

Buy a cheaper water tank(for livestock), they make body sized plastic ones with drain holes. Hook a hose up to drain hole, put end of hose in shower to drain water when done. 😀

We have that at my place outside for soaking. Works super well. And you can get them for about $100 I think.

Except with bad reality TV downloaded for free from iTunes and lots of time snuggling with my puppy!
 
I'm snuggled in to my chair with sweatshirt and blanket, orange juice, coffee, ramen noodles, and watching Hot in Cleveland on Netflix.

I'm suppose to be cleaning the kitchen and moving things around to fit the new furniture in. But, eh, I don't feel like it.

'Relaxing' before working 16 hours tomorrow(starting 12 hours from now. Joy). 👎

Doing some half-*****ed research on which schools I may want to apply to couple years from now(to start looking at which classes I will need to be taking and setting up a semi-schedule for classes next year)

Cleaning the house(sort of). Doing dishes. Rearranging things around to put the new furniture where it belongs and make it actually look like a home. My bedroom looks like a bedroom now with an actual long dresser, just need to find a mirror I like to go with it! Before, I had a garage shelving unit to hold clothes and things. :laugh:
