Tonight's forray into cooking (dirty rice) turned out a little more according to plan, thankfully. Plenty for lunch or dinner for the week, which is nice too!

Unfortunately, my entire house is a huge mess. I really need to clean at least one of these rooms but I just don't feel like it 😀

Pulled out my neuroanatomy book to start reading... kitten has decided that I am not allowed to study and that I must play and I must play NOW. He is too cute to deny... :laugh:

Spoiled little kitten. He goes back home tomorrow morning.

Also wondering when and how the Superbowl made the sudden switch from the "family friendly" burned out, badly aging rock stars, back to the sexy female pop stars dancing in lingerie. 😕

Oh my, she looked GREAT! And sounded great! And that was the first time I can ever remember actually enjoying a Super Bowl halftime show! I especially loved the Destiny's Child reunion!

Sitting in a parking lot trying to decide what to do with myself. My job interview for this morning was rescheduled at the last minute because of the crappy weather. Just as well because I'm feeling lousy today, but I really wish they'd told me sooner so I didn't have to get up at 5am and rush around like a giant stressball all morning. 🙄

I need to go to the mall and buy myself some new heels for my vet school interviews, but I am soooo tempted to just sit here and take a nap in my car first.
 
I'm trying to study, but my part of my face keeps going numb. Stupid nerve problem.
 
Finished an assignment due tomorrow ... But I don't want to do anything else tonight. Just no.
 
Bracing for awfulness. Biochemistry 2 is my only incomplete prereq for any of the schools I applied to, and only needed for A&M, and I'm pretty positive I'm going to flunk the exam tomorrow.
 
Just pulled a Bailey's cheesecake out of the oven. Making coffee-flavored whipped topping next.
 
Studying... Trying to resist the urge to bake and stuff my face...
 
I just ate 3/4 of a pizza. 😳 Spinach, mushroom and mozzarella cheese. 😀

And now, I'm going to go soak in a hot bath! 😍
 
Charging my laptop on my bf's charger and trying to figure out which new charger to buy. Computer problems are terrible, terrible things.
 
Laying in a fuzzy blanket in my underwear taking a study break and snuggling with my monkey-cat. This might colour me weird to say this, but the feeling of cat fur on skin is one of my favourite feelings ever. :laugh:
 
Fiiiinally cleaning my house. Of course I get in the mood when I'm suppose to be going to bed. *sigh* Will be a long day at work tomorrow, but I have to seize the moment when I get the itch to clean. Doesn't happen often. :laugh:

Had the itch this morning when I was supposed to wake up and study sun up to sun down. Ended up cleaning and cooking until 3:30 :lame:
Whoops! Coming home to a clean house tonight was fantastic and definitely worth it!
 
Should be sleeping, but every time I fall asleep having the same exact nightmare. I feel like my skin is on fire but I don't feel feverish. Also, neighbors have decided tonight is a great night for a party.. They have been blasting music since about 1:30 it is 5.. So much for a good night's sleep.. Have to be up soon.. 🙁
 
At the rheumatologist. My least favorite place. Hope I can get some answers this time. I vow to be a good doctor and not leave patients out to dry.
