I'm spending most of the day cooking: I made pumpkin pancakes, and I'm making cupcakes and macaroni and cheese for my friend's birthday party that's finally happening tonight. Also I intend to type up my bacterial pathogenesis notes...hopefully I can get around to that, too. 😉

Skipping German to spend more time with my grandma. She's leaving today and I'm not sure when I'll be able to see her again. Might be a year, might be two. No clue. So wing with errrr is more important than being in German class where I don't learn anything anyways.

So I've got exactly zero work done today. Almost time to head to our everyone-brings-food-and-watches-Doctor-Who party! :hardy:

But I agree. It's way more important. She was pretty sick before she came here, so I really want to see her as much as possible. But she just left. 🙁
 
I have 4 things to do today and 3 of them are chemistry. Prelab, postlab, and a critical review to write. Plus studying for my physics exam tomorrow.
 
I went shopping (I hate shopping), but I got a few things that I needed, couldn't locate one thing that I did need and I bought a few things that I didn't need (but I wanted them.. 🙂)

Now it is laundry time and study time (but I am procrastinating).

I went shopping yesterday in the rain just so that I didn't have to go today. But I have food to eat! And trying to study for physio, but kinda failing at it...

I went shopping for some more jackets/sweaters because it is getting fecking cold here.
 
Just tried to clean my male's ears out for the first time and he yelped like someone was killing him when the ear cleaner soaked cotton ball touched his ear 🙄. He's such a scared little wussy. (And no, it wasn't because it burned or he has an ear problem, he's just a big scaredy baby dog.) Such a silly boy 😍
 
Attempting to balance watching Scrubs and studying for diagnostic imaging. I was very happy when I found out thoracic radiology wasn't going to be on it. But still, struggling to get through this stuff.

When I read "my male", I thought you were talking about your boyfriend..:laugh:
Probably because my boyfriend refers to me as "his female" when he talks to his friends...which I hate.

I just realized how much energy I had today... It was amazing! I RAN, RAN up the stairs in my flat, I haven't RUN upstairs in a really long time.

Really having a hard time convincing myself to keep this dr. appointment tomorrow when I have been feeling so great today.
 
My sister is making me gluten free brownies! Best sister ever!

I am queen of procrestination. Have to study for a genetics lab exam tomorrow but... worrying wether to submit my VMCAS now or wait til tomorrow when i get more final feedback on my personal statement

At least she put her head on my physics book, so I can justify not turning the page and doing more problems!
 
I just changed the background on my computer to a more Halloween-y theme. I also changed the color of my task bar to orange, and it's kind of throwing me off since the icons usually turn orange/yellow when I need to look at them.

It was actually a box mix. It was by King Arthur's Flour. I just ate the last one 😀. Believe it or not though, Betty Crocker actually makes a really good GF brownie mix as well.
 
Feeling kinda weird... The deadline is tomorrow and for the first time in three years I won't be stressing for months waiting to hear my fate. Makes me wonder if I'm making the right move.

Well, if nothing else, this means I can continue to watch the Yanks beat up on the Sox without guilt. 😉

NOT studying molecular bio like I need to be. I almost wish my family would keep bad news from me so I could concentrate. I just don't know how to focus right now with all this bad news 🙁

Getting my crock pot ready to go for tomorrow morning....french dip sandwiches for dinner tomorrow, mmmmmmmm. House already smells good from carmelizing some onions and garlic.

And this is a totally spur of the moment meal that I just so happened to have all the ingredients for. Does this mean I spend too much money at the grocery store? I could probably live out of my freezer for a few months :laugh:

I am worried about DVM.... she has not posted on here all day.....which is very out of character for her..... starting to become concerned especially with her recent health issues.... hoping everything is ok :xf:
 
Waiting for the girl that has Ivy. She was supposed to be here ten minutes ago and I really need to go to class.
