My afternoon class got cancelled, so after my riding lesson I am seriously considering heading to Walmart to try and find some more pieces for my Halloween costume. Also general fall/winter clothes.
 
Bringing my dog to a blood donor trial today. He better behave so he can get free food, wellness checkups, and trifexis 😀
I've been lifting his head, holding off his jug, and giving him treats each time to prepare him 😳
 
I just received another email saying that I have yet another bill from the power company.... I am thinking that it might be a good idea to just not look... Actually, I think that is exactly what I am going to do, I am just going to ignore it..
 
Yay! Pup did well. Said he'll be perfect as long as his blood tests come back all gravy 😀 :xf:
 
Thinking about getting lunch and the fact that my day ends at 1 today!
 
I'm babysitting the clinic this afternoon. We had no afternoon appointments so both doc's took off. Looks like I'm getting paid to be on sdn for 3 hours 😀.

I wish that was the case here. We had a slow morning too (first slow day in awhile) so we cleaned most of the clinic. Last week we made enough packs/drapes to last us for a while... Luckily, the phone has been ringing so I've been able to keep occupied. Otherwise, I'm afraid I'll 😴.

I wish my clinic was like this.... There was ALWAYS something to do, even if you had cleaned... Ever heard of Deep Cleaning or Spring Cleaning... Yeah, you were never bored, they would find something for you to do...

You know what... I do need to clean one of the windows... With newspaper. We can only wipe down windows with cleaner and newspaper. Have you guys done/heard of that? Apparently newspaper is the way to go ?!?

That's how my mom used to clean the windows when I was little. It's also cheaper than paper towels if you already get the paper and doesn't leave lint like towels.

Our receptionists swear by this. I had never heard of it until I saw them, but they do it every evening for all of our windows and I've never noticed any streakiness--not that I'm really looking that closely, but, I guess not noticing is a good thing in this case!

So far so good with the window and newspaper! No streaking, but then again I can't really compare any other methods 🙄. I don't clean my apt windows very often...
 
Talking to my Army friend who is in Afghanistan. I didn't even realize how much I've missed talking with him until we started talking again a few days ago. 🙂
 
Just got out of swing dance and I'm so hyped up (and sooo going to collapse once the endorphins wear off) and really don't want to do physics homework for tomorrow but that needs to happen.

...soon as I'm caught up on WW.
 
Standing in the rain waiting for the bus because some idiot decided to stand right next to me under the bus stop and start puffing on her cancer stick. There is nothing more disgusting than the smell of cigarettes... :barf:

I don't care if you want to inhale that nasty **** but have some respect and smoke away from me.

One of the worst parts about living in Europe/Asia. Way too many smokers for me.

Lots of Germans smoke, but a lot of don't. And not as big a problem with teeth here either.
 
Rocked my anatomy exam today :horns:
But now I have to study for my immuno mid term on Monday all of tonight and tomorrow night so I can spend the weekend with my BF. Can't wait to see him. It's been far too long 😍
But this whole cramming for an exam right after a 3 hour exam thing kinda blows. :lame:

I feel you. So far this term, both my first and second exams in animal physiology and biochemistry fell on the same day, and the statistics the day after. I walk around the library twitching and muttering about how I can never seem to get enough caffeine in my system anymore. :boom:



Congrats on the anatomy exam though! 😀
 
Studying bio by watching podcasts. This helped me so much last time. Brought a 20 point better grade and I actually passed the test. Hopefully this'll help again.

Taking a study break now though to watch some Buffy.

Gah, I swear they always fall on the same day! I hope your exams went well, and I feel your pain. A few weeks ago I had an anatomy, biochemistry, and microbiology exam all on the same day. Started with my first exam at 8am and finished the third at 9:30 pm... 😴

Studying now for another round of micro and biochem exams on Wednesday next week. I shamefully used my first class drop and got out of anatomy, though I am a lot less stressed out now. Better luck next semester I suppose...I liked my lab group too... 🙁

BSing my way through a grant proposal I have to write for my bio lab. So much work for a 1 hour lab class. 🙁
 
Studying for my systemic pathology midterm on Friday. Almost done. Just a couple more pages of diseased testicles and then I can quit for the night. (Certain phrases only sound right in a select few contexts. That would be one of them.)
 
Intermittently studying physics, working on my schedule for next semester, and messing around on the internet.
 
Waiting for my brachycephalic dog to have an MRI--yay smooshed faces and anesthesia. 🙄 Trying to decide whether to distract myself with hobbies or with homework until it's time to pick her up.
