I want to know what other pre-dents on SDN are majoring in.
I am majoring in Biochem. Do we have to major in science related field or we can major in anything for dental school?

You can major in anything, but if you major in Sociology and never take a bio or chem class, the DAT will be significantly more difficult.

im majoring in sociology, and it's kinda obvious if you never take a bio or chem class you'd die... that's why you can take the required courses while doing another major. the nice thing about sociology major is it's real flexible, hell i can even take more bio classes than the required for dental school and still graduate on time. =)

That's true. I majored in Psy and minored in Biochem. I was able to take anatomy, micro, physiology, biochem 1 & 2, and other science classes.. I graduated in 4 years too 😀
As long as you do great in all your classes (non-science and science), you can major in anything you like
