I know you guys are tired of all the NP vs PA questions, but this is a bit different.

What do you guys think about the NP programs at such institutions like UCSF, UCLA, UC Davis, John Hopkins? These places have more NPs in their teaching hospitals than PAs, which makes sense because they have these programs there, but what do you think of knowledge, quality when compared to a PA?

A lot of people say PAs are better, so just wondering your input.

Im glad you made this thread. Im sure this is the first time this issue has been discussed!

Knowledge is not contagious. Going to Harvard doesn't make you a better doctor, np, pa, etc. It all depends on the effort you put into it. Study hard, ask questions, and volunteer for opportunities and you will excel wherever you go.

At the end of the day an np program is still 500-800 clinical hrs and a pa program is 2000-3000. you decide.
