👎1999 Kia Sephia👎 - White - Has about only 55,000 miles BUT at like 35,000 miles ..the trans went....so I got it rebuilt...($1000.00) but then over year later....the trans..is currently going again.... Stay away from older model Kias....infamous for their tran problems.
 
'98 mustang GT, chrome yellow with black leather interior, manual

I love this car...it's my baby. These things are built to last, so with only 85k miles I'm planning on keeping it through residency as long as it will go without serious problems. Actually by then it's selling value will be nil so I'll probably just garage it and make it a future project car. It's got only minor bolt-ons so far (bassani off-road x-pipe, flowmaster cat-back, k&n cold air intake, ford racing cobra clutch, and 4.10 rear end gears waiting to be installed) but planning to supercharge and do some engine work in the near future.

No no, i can DRIVE it just fine (power seats, everything is pointed up and forward 🙄) but it's used, so the original owner didn't opt for the little step bar thingys...i have to literally CLIMB into it, it's funny to everyone who isn't me 😉
 
06 volkswagen jetta in gold/beige. yay for all vdub drivers. i love my car but i'm seriously eaten up with envy every time i see a range rover or a BMW 325i? i want one those things so badly...

Yeah, my parents had a Kia Sephia and sold it because the repair costs made it unreasonable.
 
dang, some of you guys have nice cars. 91 pontiac sunbird here. smells like something's burning most of the time. but i can't complain... it runs and i have a plane too. 😀

I had a VW Passat, but I only owned it for 6 months (though it was used) when it was totaled by a drunk driver right outside my house at night.😡 Hit and run, and I only had liability insurance, so that car was history pretty soon. I still drove it for a while cuz I had no $, even though it couldn't drive straight, but then first one of the wheels fell off, then one of the tires kept getting destroyed every 1.5 months because of uneven wear, and then eventually my belt "exploded" (as the mechanic said), at which point I gave up on it and sold it to a dumpster for $100. I had paid $4700 for it a year earlier.😡😡😡

Broken bottles strewn all over the lawn around the site and the fact that the tire treads showed he had been spinning down the street were a pretty good indicator. Based on the treads, he hit me once, then backed up trying to get out, couldn't do it, slammed into me again, backed up again, hit the gas, slammed into my car, drove it sideways into a tree, and then drove away.😡😡😡 And the cops wouldn't do crap about it, even though he had enough parts left behind from his car for them to pinpoint the make, model, and even year, let alone things like overall color and bumper.😡

I thought I had pictures, but it appears that I've already deleted them - it didn't look like too much from the outside (VW is a pretty heavy car with thick steel, after all), but there was major frame damage. I thought it was gonna be alright at first, but then I got inside and my steering wheel was at like 120 degrees to its normal position, and then once the mechanic raised it, you could see that one of the rear wheels was tilted a good 10 degrees.:scared: I had to perform my own little impromptu investigation where I called every mechanic in the 100-mile area to see if a car like the one involved in my accident had been brought in, but no result. And the accident happened between 3 AM and 6 AM (the time I went to bed and the time my neighbor woke up and saw it), so obviously not a single witness.🙄
 
As for me, who started this thread, I drive an Acura Integra GSR 😉. My teg is just like one those 2fast2furious cars. I bought it with the after-market exhaust, bodykit and everything. And Yes, integra's are better, faster and fuel efficient than camry's, mustangs, Maxima's etc. Accords are good cars too. For a new driver...you can't go wrong woth Honda/Acura.

As an '04 Accord driver, I'm in love with the TSX. Makes me wish I lived in the rest of the civilized world where your car is my car.
 
Honda's are great cars though...especially the prelude ones.

But you can't beat my 97 GSR, lol 😎.
 
So, SDN, with its stellar applicants also has its stellar car drivers. I feel like everything is about performance and show, now 😉. Well I'll still putt around in my car thats as old as my younger brother.

oh no, you are going to make the mustang guy mad. mustangs can be very fast...but that doesn't mean i would ever buy one. imports ftw. i had a 3000GT Vr4 before my Z, ran mid 12's in the quarter, AWD. so much fun and had no problem staying dead even with an older viper
 
Ha I knew a guy in high school that had a mustang with a 4-banger in it. Whats the point of getting a mustang and not getting a V-8?

Yay! Another RX-8 driver. Mine is a 2005 white (for which there is some fancy name that I'm currently blanking on). Manual, naturally.

And for when the weather gets dicey, as it occasionally does here in Ohio, I have the Acura MDX.

An integra type R or GSR can beat a mustang or camaro any day of the week...even a cobra isn't match for an integra.

I've ridden in a 3000gt, wow one of the fastest cars ever.

Plus Mustangs are one of the cheapest cars out there...and I hate their shape.

R U KIDDING ME BRO? I HAD A TYPE R AS MY 1ST CAR, AND MY SECOND CAR WAS A MR2 TURBO. AND NOOOOONE OF THEM EVEN COME CLOSE TO A CAMARO Z28 OR SS (V8 VERSIONS). COME ON MAN, A STOCK CAMARO RUNS A QUARTER MILE IN 13.7. A STOCK TYPE R RUNS ONE IN 16+ SECOND. LEARN ABOUT CARS B4 U TALK. IF U DIDNT KNOW, THE Z28 AND SS CAMARO HAS THE SAME LS1 ENGINE IN IT AS THE CORVETTE, SO SAYING AN INTEGRA IS FASTER THAN A CAMARO IS SAYIN ITS FASTER THAN A VETTE.
 
the stock GSR isn't all that fast. But mine hs turbo installed with an after-market exhaust. I beat mustangs and camaro's all the time.:laugh:
 
hmmm...now I'm REALLY starting to wonder how much you know about cars exactly...what "mustangs" are you referring to...?

An integra with minor bolt ons (the classic ricer fart-can muffler, and an air intake) is a quick little car and can take on V6 mustangs, although you'd have trouble with newer models since they are now rated at 210 bhp and 240 ft-lbs of torque. The torque number alone is much better improved and takes it off the line a lot quicker. But that's about all it can do. Sure, 70% of the mustangs on the road are in fact the more economical V6 models so you can say you run even with lots of the pre-'05 mustangs.

I'm in no way trashing your car (integras are aesthetically pleasing, I like the styling, and they are fuel efficient) but they are not speed demons unless you do some serious $*** to the car...I'm talking heavy engine work/swap, complete exhaust and headers, turbo and possibly nitrous. That's easily a $40,000 car when you're done. The Hondas in your reference citation "2fast2furious" are honda civics in exterior shell only. They are not the average ricer civic prowling high school parking lots in every urban area of the country. My parents' 24V Ford Taurus can take those. Do your research.

Integras can take a Cobra? In whose dreams? Even before the shelby's introduction recently the '03-04 cobra is underrated at 390 bhp and 380 ftlbs of torque. I'm sure you don't know what the numbers mean exactly but that's pretty quick. Especially since these cars are so easily modded with a diablosport chip tune and a smaller pulley to take them well past the 500 hp mark. If you don't like the car's looks, that's one thing. But slow? Learn a thing or two about cars before you start saying nonsense. This is a car that moderately-modded can cost under $40,000 and can run with and beat a $30,000 more expensive corvette Z06 or $90,000 viper. Please. What are you talking about? Again, do your research.

To UCDavsdude: Beautiful camaro, that's one sweet car. My brother was a big camaro fan in the past (had a '95 z28 and '02 SS) before he jumped ship and got an '04 cobra. Nothing like the LS1 V8's growl under full acceleration with free flowing exhaust.

no doubt integras are fine automobiles, turbocharged specimens even more neat (if they're done right, nobody likes a big turbo on a little 4 banger, what a pain in the ass to drive).

however, a normally aspirated integra is sloooooow. '04 Cobras run 12s STOCK.

even with your turbo 'teg, cheap bolt-ons would let an SS camaro, goat, corvette, or blown mustang walk you. And we won't even bring the c6 z06 into this, considering it's way out of any of our budgets :meanie:

2007 Honda Accord EX-L V6. I wanted the IS250 but fiancee didn't want it. Chose the accord over the TSX for the V6.

Also ride a '03 Honda CBR600RR (probably will be taking this to school because of the free parking 🙂

Before I bought my baby, I drove around in a puke-beige 1984 Volvo DL... no airbags, broken seatbelts, engine would die randomly on the freeway and I'd have to cruise in neutral while recranking the engine...

I had a 2004 Mazda 6s until it got stolen recently so now I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V8. Man it sucks with the way gas prices are now. I also ride a 2003 Yamaha R6. Sweet and fast!!!!! No racing for me.

I've never liked American cars. Anyone can put in a V8, burn a lot of gas, and make a car go fast in a straight line.

In terms of engineering and refinement, imports are the way to go 👍

I really can't get into this argument too much other than to say that I hate all those douchebags and the rice burners with huge wings, huge exhaust pipe, and ugly decals that they drive. I mean why drop a few grand on a civic when you could just buy a nicer faster car. Everyone else (unless you are in the group of idiots that liked the fast and furious movies) thinks that you look like a idiot revving up your honda civic and peeling out of every parking lot you ever drive out of.

As far my truck its 100% american made. 2001 Chevy Z71 with a 2" lift on it and bigger tires (not redneck big, just big enough to do some offroading). but I'm kind of a country boy so maybe I just don't understand all the rice burners.
