My advisor said something to us during the ranking process and told us not to put down anyplace that you do not want to be, and I truly believe it. I matched and I have plenty of friends who matched into OB and only put places on their list that they were truly happy with. You don't want too match and then cry all day!

Only leave out a place off your list if you would rather scramble or be unemployed for a year instead of going there. Your odds of getting something better in the scramble are so small that you should just rank everything. There are always PGY2 places opening up during the first year so you can always transfer if you really hate it.
