I'm a junior in chemistry major and just starting Ochem 1 in Spring and seriously contemplating switching to be a biology major. Since I haven't taken any upper level chemistry courses, I figure this transition wouldn't be a setback.
As far as spring registration goes, I've taken gen chem 1/2, biology 1/2, physics 1/2 with oGPA 3.47 and sGPA 3.2. I realize my sGPA is too low to be competitive, but I'm fully aware of my situation and now working on improving it!
I was recommended to take genetics next, but the only professor teaching this spring is difficult, so I want to put it off until the summer, which I hear isn't too bad.
So far, the courses I've considered taking are:
Ochem1 with lab
2D design
Philosophy
and hopefully one more science(or w/e) class
What are you guys taking in spring? What electives have you/are you taking to strengthen your resume?
