My first acceptance! :biglove:
After almost a year of suffering 😱 through the application cycle.
Interviewed on 03/29, letter dated May 1st.

CONGRATS!

Received waitlist notice from NYMC on Monday.....it seems the God of medicine has deemed that I have not waited long enough and thoroughly enjoys watching me sweat... 🙂 here's to good news next week for those of us continuing to wait.

ok mine might be a little different from everyone but I got an "A" in Physics 2. I'm ecstatic b/c I suck as physics...w00t!

Now, just gotta brace myself for MCAT scores next week...:scared:
 
EVMS acceptance yesterday. Was told i was on bottom 1/3 of waitlist. Totally shocked!!
 
congrats! i think i may have interviewed on the same day as you (march 2nd?)... i remember seeing a random post from you a day or two after our interview... anyway, i was waitlisted too, so maybe i will be joining you soon... yayyy for waitlist movement!
 
Rejections from Cleveland Clinic and OHSU yesterday. After all that waiting, too. 🙁
 
Alternate list package from Downstate. My 4th waitlist! "Our class is full, but you were selected to be placed on our alternate list", all financial info and immunization forms are included, which makes it look kind of optimistic.

In at UIC (Champaign/Peoria Track) and now SIU

Unless I get transferred to the Chicago UIC campus, I'm hoping for an RFUMS acceptance in the next few weeks.

I love those phone calls from "Unknown" and "private" numbers. I know its not the telemarketers. It has to be the school.

I received 5 letters and 2 large packets from Mayo. I was so scared one of them would be a rescindment of my acceptance/scholarship...

I also received my refund from Drexel and a nice letter from OHSU. I don't think I have ever received so much med school mail in one day- much more entertaining than my usual junk mail.

When they told me during the interview at SB that I am "such a good candidate," will get more than one acceptance and will choose between schools I couldnt' believe it, but now I really am in such a situation!!!
 
this must seem random, but it is great to read the posts of those who are getting in to med school. Im waiting to hear back from Drexel's DPMS program so its encouraging to hear from those who are one step ahead of me.

RFU rejection pre-interview. They had said they would be holding my app. until the first day of classes. Guess not!
