Dude, I remember the summer I worked at the marina where we keep our boat, and it was just like that. The work at least. Or lack thereof. One of the easiest jobs I've ever worked at. And you get to meet some hawt chicks. But it gets frustrating not being able to go out and wakeboard with the boat full of them when they come by to gas up...

yay rugby! who do you play for? we have southern california playoffs this weekend, it should be awesome. its between us, UC Irvine, Loyola, and Pepperdine. we had a great regular season (6-0) and are looking to finish well and hopefully go to Nationals, but well see! ill keep the rugby picture trend goin.... the group picture is from our "oxy rugby calendar" that we made. it was friken awesome and a really good fundraiser. oh and i am two to the right of the dork in the bright green trimmed sunglasses.

Hahaha, very good! I think it was more of a Wie gehts es ihnen?! I dunno, just hearing it, and then hearing my cousins saying it again when they found out why I was rolling in the floor laughing, was awesome. Hahahaha.... man, I miss Europe... Bavaria and the Alps mostly. I almost picked up a textbook to learn Italian in the used bookstore yesterday, but I wussed out and got the USMLE First Aid for 7 bucks. I'll probably still go back and get the Italian book. I really want to learn to speak it and either Russian or Greek or something Cyrillic. For travelling mostly.

haha i coudnt help but post this picture....... taken just minutes before second semester Ochem final, which was cumulative for both semesters (LAME), notice the look of complete horror on my face (closest in the front row in the black shirt and hat)

ohhhh then you definitely do not want to see any of the other pictures!! haha. put it this way....we modeled our calendar of the french national rugby teams calendar that they do every year..... never underestimate the "scaryness" of a frenchmen.

So they will have average size children. And not the basketball and volleyball playing freaks like frickenhugeMD that stuff me whenever I try to do anything. I hate being short... well... average. 5'10" ish. 11" on a good day....

You are definitely not short rose. My husband is 5'6", he's more on the short side but still taller than me! 😀

True. I feel the same way most days. Until I hang out with my best friend who is like 6'4" 240. Then I just feel like a big buff average height guy, rather than a big buff (kinda)tall guy.

I played for the University of Georgia until last year when I graduated. I'm in med school right now, so I think the glory days of my rugby career are behind me.Have fun at the tourney.

During my peak I was 6'5" 250 or so. I had a friend that was 6'9" 290 and jacked. That makes you feel small. It was fun to go out to bars because my other friend was the same size as me, and then one of my other buds was like 6'2" 230. Once in a while we'd wear football tshirts from our school, and I had the same sandals they got from nike. We'd always get fronts for the keg or free drinks. I just lied and said I was third string. Nobody is going to check that.

My boyfriend is a major sci-fi fan but is still devoted to Star Trek episodes. He watches them from 4-6 weekdays on Spike whenever he's home around then. I don't think he ever got into Stargate or those other ones....I think it's really sad but I guess like your wife, I also beginning to understand 😛

That's awesome. You and my wife are definitely the most patient and understanding human beings in the whole wide world. I mean it. I think I drive her nutZZZZ! But it's ok, I have to put up with Oprah and Dr. Ozzy Osbourne or what ever his name is. By "Firefly" I dare not assume Firefly the series should I?

hahah you mean Dr. Phil? Yeah I don't do either of them because I could go on my soapbox about how much they've conned the public into believing that what they are saying is the most amazing stuff ever when it's just common sense. I make my boyfriend sit through really dramatic moving films and books like Babel or The Kite Runner. He prefers the action, bloody, more masculine flicks 😛

And I have no idea what the firefly series is :laugh: - my name stems from the hindi word that my parents also used to describe me as a kid since I always was headstrong and feisty even at a very young age.

haha, and to answer your question...I probably SHOULD know a lot about S. aureus since I did an oral presentation on it 2 years ago in my Micro lab. But right now, I couldn't tell you anything. My brain is fried! Oops! 😕
