Okay I'm going to break the mold here. I'm what Lane Bryant would call a "real woman". So all you skinny ladies better just watch out!!
Oh and I think this was taken last year on my birthday.

Okay just kidding. That last one was not my birthday last year but it was the same shirt. This one is of me and the kids and my dad back in IL. Just keep in mind I had "just" had a baby and was still breastfeeding so I was trying to conserve a lot of extra calories for my baby. 
And here's a family pic at the zoo for my son's birthday last March. It looks like I'm missing some hair but I actually have a ton so I put it back in a bun because I get hot really really easily:

I found my senior yearbook (1994, yeah, I'm seasoned) and I must say it's the one and only photo from my school years I like. Simple, no mall hair or crazy makeup (yeah my sophomore pic was the worst!). The other one is from some trip to Rome my husband and I were on.

Although I was going through a blond phase a few years back when that was taken. I'm a ginger (natural) again now.

I would look super weird if I dyed my hair blond. Although when I was growing up I always wished I was born a blond instead. I'm happy with my black hair now though. 😀
Thanks! That's so sweet of you to say. I have my dad to thank for the exotic part of me and my mom to thank for not getting the naturally thin and naturally straight (not frizzy) hair genes from my Chinese side.

one of my delicious meals.......seriously, these are a "snack"...like popcorn. eat them alive, or roasted over the fire. both rather...ummm...tasty....

technically i went with a group of ppl, but i didnt know any of them. that view pic was from when i went hiking with the other canadian who was volunteering with me. AWSOME TIMES

There's no way I could ever eat those bugs. Did you actually eat them alive or just cooked? What kind of volunteer work were you doing over there?
Thanks prions!! I have to admit, and this may come as a shock, I also think my kids are the cutest I have ever seen. 😉 If I could figure out how to use our scanner I would scan in some pictures of me as a baby. I was freakin' cute if I do say so myself. 😀

Meggs your high school pic is so cute! I have reddish hair now, but it's not quite my natural color. 🙄 Blonde hair is so pretty (my sister is freakin platinum), but I would look like a total freak with blonde hair! 😱

Both. Alive is weird, they flutter in ur mouth till you bite down. Roasted was crunchy....not much taste.
And I was working in a mobile medical clinic that traveled throughout rural Kenya....hence my wicked mud hut. I didnt really see any "cities". Also taught women's health education classes to ladies in each village and HIV/AIDS awareness to youth groups and schools.
All in all, busy trip. But definitely unforgettable. Not to mention i got to go white water rafting on the Nile in Uganda. THAT was crazy 😱. I was so excited the whole time i almost peed myself.
oh, and i feel ur children are unbelievably cute. I dont have kids, but they could def be friends with my lil cousins who are also the snuggliest little monkeys ever. 😛

That sounds like it would be a really great experience. I would like to do volunteer trips abroad with our kids but not until they get quite a bit older.
