What factors contribute to deciding to continue w/ accepting interview invites?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
My only thought is that you should play nice. There are so many people out there that don't have interviews yet, but you are sitting on multiple acceptances. That sounds very selfish. I could understand having an acceptance at your "safety school" and getting an II at your top choice. But it sounds like you already have one of your top picks.

Once I got two acceptances in my "top five" I canceled all my other interviews, except one. I kept my state school and interviewed there.

You will do what you want, and you have earned the interviews, you have every right to go to them. But if you are doing it just so you can feel good about how good you are then that is selfish. If you think that the other schools are better and you could see yourself giving up your acceptances without even thinking about it then I would think that it is okay.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. But don't hold more than two birds. Others want to hunt too.

Hey OP,

Do you brag much?

You know, there are people here who have not even got a single interview. Would you find it in your heart to not rub it in?

Omare- I apologize I didn't mean for the post to come off that way. I am not bragging and was honestly asking a question.
I am thankful to this website because I've learned so much. Strangely enough I have become the very neurotic student that I vowed I wouldn't so many years ago.
I think dsoz is right though. I will probably just withdraw from all other schools.
Again thanks for the responses. I am pulling for everyone who didn't think they could go to med school. And if anyone wants to get a couple of my Berkeley Review books hit me up. Or if anyone wants to ask me anything let me know. We are in this together.

I dont even know what the original post said but +1 to this. I know that if I was accepted at a school I really liked, I would withdraw soon after from the schools that I know I wouldn't attend over the school I'm accepted at merely out of respect and to be considerate to adcom's and other applicants. That may sound naive but I like to try to be a good person 😳

Congrats on your acceptances OP
