What health insurance are you guys getting for school?

I currently do not have one.

I'm going to SCCO and it looks like it doesn't provide health insurance coverage from school. Any suggestions on good and low rate student insurance? I'm not sure if insurance in California is more expensive than North Carolina.

I'm currently located in North Carolina so I won't be a California resident until 06/2019.

I was thinking other than medicaid. But I guess Ill just go with that route. Thanks.

Do schools typically not include health insurance as a part of their tuition/academic costs? My school for undergrad did. I'm not sure if the same applies for optometry schools or professional schools in general
