I applied to medical school in the past. So, does it have any effect if I apply to dental school? Do dental schools have negative impression on me? Since on the application, I have to report that I have previously applied to medical school.

I would hope not. Having attended med school for a couple years before applying this cycle, I would think that most schools would look at my time there as an advantage (taken the core classes at the highest level already). I would think that you MUST have a good reason for switching your interest that adcoms will accept.

I dont think they will really hold it against you but they will definitely wonder your motivation to switch to dentistry and whether you are fully committed to the profession.
