If you want a general overview: expect to work an average of 80 hours during residency which is an average of a couple of bad weeks and a couple of good weeks. In our residency, we generally had two weekend calls and several weekday calls (GYN) with a nightfloat team on for OB. Everyone got 1-2 weekends off per month. With respect to hours, you'd come in at 5:30-6 to round on OB/ONC, 6:30 on GYN services and generally were scheduled to stay till 5. However, this varies with rotations.
As a fellow/attending your schedule depends on your specialty/practice setting. If you have a specific one in mind (e.g. general OB/GYN, private practice), let us know and we'll see who can offer up some information.
Overall though, as mentioned in previous threads, it is a hard yet enjoyable residency, and afterward you can gear your practice to your priorities provided that you are flexible with how much money you want to make, and what setting you want to be in.
Hope this helps.
