Hey everyone, I have a question: how do med schools calculate science GPA? do they include in the calculations only grades for pre reqs for med schools (biochem, 2 semesters of physics, 2 semesters of orgo, chemistry, biology) or do they count ALL grades for bio classes( for example, microbiology, cell biology, anatomy) ? Another question is: if I take some online classes from the university (anatomy, neurobiology, histology) will med schools count those grades in science GPA? Please, answer. I really don't know if I should take online classes or not to waste money if they won't help me. Thanks.

Science GPA is your biology, chemistry, physics, and math courses (BCPM GPA). All the classes that fit in those categories will be used to calculate your sGPA. Your cGPA is all of your classes including fluffs.
