what is the average score on pcat?

since our scores are compared with scores from 5 years ago, the average score for the october test isn't necesssarily 50% is it?

Don't confuse percent with percentile. Big difference between the two.

Harcourt generally doesn't make a public announcement about that. In theory, a 50th percentile person is right in the middle of the pack score wise. That indicates the median more than average.

Basically, scoring in the 50th percentile means that about half of the test takers did better than you and half did worse but it doesn't offer any explanation of the gap between a person and those two groups.

yeah whats amazing is that it dosnt take alot of points to start climbing. like 400 is about 50 but 420 i think is about 80 percentile or so. theres alot of ppl who do bad but dont post here so in theory as omnion said it should be 50 but dont flatter urself bc that means half did better than u lol and that half could be 10,000 ppl or 20,000 who knows.
