What is the best time for steps in six year system?

My uni has six years if mbbs in which first three are basic sciences and the remaining clinical. So what is the best time for me to give step 1 and 2?

My uni has a six year European system in which first three are basic sciences and the remaining clinical. So what is the best time for me to give step 1 and 2?

The best time conceptually would be to step 1 after basic sciences and step 2 after you finish your mandatory rotations, but I'd ask your school admin first
