I know that practice tests are the best way become good at math, but do I need to really read through the books to learn it? I have a lot of practice tests with explanations at the end. Should I just do those? I know I could do it all, but what is really necessary for a good score. I don't want to overdo it since time is of the essence. thanx, Kenny

Ahhh mathematics... *barf*. Anyhow, the best way to kick a$$ in math is to simply do the homework. Here is what I usually do:

- Work through the problems.
- If there are any problems I have trouble with, I circle them.
- Go see the professor or TA immediately for help with those problems BEFORE the next assignment begins.

I was never good in mathematics, but I did really well in Calculus because I did the work. If you do the work, and understand what you are doing, you have no excuse NOT to get an A.

The textbook helped me better understand concepts and theorems. It was essential in Calculus that I did the homework and sample test problems a few times per week, even if it meant at midnight in the hallway of my dorm
