what is the daily schedule for a D1 at USC? Is is possible to do research?

Hi!
I will be a D1 this year at USC. I have worked in dental research for a few years now and I was hoping that I will be able to continue to do that while I'm in dental school. I was wondering if D1's would have enough time in their schedules that they can actually do research? At my interview some of the dental students told us how they had quite some time during the day as after the PBL session was done in the morning they had some time off before their other engagements. So if a D1 would tell me about their daily schedule I'd appreciate it. I hope to hear back from some of you. Thanks.

Bump? You might try posing this question in the ¨dental¨ forum.

Based on what those D1s told you, it sounds like you already somewhat have an answer about time to do research. I´m surprised at your interview you were unable to get more information on curriculum/schedule. You might find something in these threads helpful, unfortunately it´s all I can suggest as I´m not at USC. 🙂
