Even more of a joke? hardly. I don't agree that vet school is harder to get in to. I think getting into dental school is much more difficult than getting into vet school, despite the admissions "odds," because frankly...dental students are smarter than vet students.

Vet schools are like magnets for ugly chicks. Maybe there's something about looking like a heifer that helps them to empathize with the animals. Between med, vet, and dental students it seems like the dental students are by far the most attractive.

Hey Grumpy, are you always pessimistic? 🙂 If you can't get in, it's even more of a reason to go out and have fun to take your mind away. Enjoy life regardless of the outcome.

I can understand why feel annoyed. Welcome to the real world. Just treat it like your future public customers...they will ask you all kind of questions. It will repeat every year anyway. If you cannot handle it, you will become one ugly angry stiff dentist for many years to come. Some of those lack confidence, you should try help them instead of mock them...it will help you gain some SDN Extra-Curricular hours for your application. 🙂

Wtf, seriously. If you're too stupid to realize that they're the same thing (or too lazy to run a quick search to save yourself the embarrassment of being such an ignorant troll), save yourself the $$$ and don't even bother applying.

Personally, DDS looks cooler. But DMD is cool, because it has the word "medicine" in it. It'd make me feel like a doctor, albeit a fake one.

I would personally advocate for a 3rd degree, DDM. It has the suave-ness of DDS, but the pseudo-intellect sound of Medicine.

And med school girls look like butt.
