Hello All,
I am a junior and based on the semester thus far I believe I will apply to medical school with a sGPA 3.55 and a cGPA of 3.77. I am a AA and also would be considered economically disadvantaged. I have research and have won various awards for said research. I have leadership and e.c's. Despite this I wanted to know what MCAT would be competitive for me to get into medical schools such as :
University of Washington
University of Michigan Ann Arbor
NYU
Ohio State

I know the highest possible is ideal.

Aim for a 526. Why would you aim for any less?

Do you mean to ask, what is the minimum MCAT that you need? Given your race and schools you're aiming for, a 512 or above would be competitive I think.

yes what's a competitive mcat score is more of the question

The University of Washington is only for students from Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho. If you're not a resident of one of these five states, you will be auto-rejected pre-secondary. It's a waste of thirty-five bucks.

This came up last week and gyngyn responded by saying they make an exception to URMs not from the WWAMI regio.

As for the OP 508+ like Goro said will attract tons of interest.
