Hi all, I am currently doing an intern in dental assistant. I was thinking to do dental hygiene next and then go to dental school, because I want to he an orthodontist. I am currently stuck in the situation to decide should i gl directly to dental school or should I do dental hygienists? Also, how can i go directly to dental school what should I be doing now?

If you want to be an orthodontist you go to dental school. Why wouldn’t you try to go directly?

I feel you need a lot of guidance and we need a lot of details to help you.
Like you can't jump from being an assistant to being a dental student.
You need to take dental schools pre-requisites ( bio 1/2, chem 1/2, orgo1/2, physics 1/2 + 2 English courses and/or biochem and/or microbiology and/or others depending on the schools) and at least finish 3 years of a bachelor degree etc etc etc.
Can you give us more details about your education level and other relative info?
